Damien Corcoran is a leadership advisor and coach to high-performing CEOs, C-Suite executives, and founders navigating the complex intersections of business, identity, and personal evolution.
He began his leadership journey at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where he was commissioned as an officer into the Royal Signals. From commanding technical experts in Afghanistan to serving alongside US and multinational forces at CENTCOM in Florida, Damien learned early that effective leadership is not about hierarchy - it’s about responsibility, adaptability, and trust. The Army’s motto, Serve to Lead, remains a core tenet of his work today.
After the military, Damien transitioned into the corporate world, rising to senior executive and C-suite roles across global retail and food businesses including Aldi, Sainsbury’s, Whole Foods Market (Amazon), and UAE-based conglomerates. He led complex turnarounds, strategic restructures, and high-stakes cultural transformations, always with a clear view: sustainable businesses are built on human truth, courageous decision-making, and values-led leadership. Damien’s work and exposure has been a masterclass in leading in volatile, uncertain, chaotic and ambiguous environments; he now works with clients to navigate those perpetual challenges in their businesses and lives.
Damien became a student of Conscious Capitalism during his time at Whole Foods Market (Amazon), designing environments where people, profit, and purpose could co-exist. He has since advised boards and governments on organisational change, including special economic zones, food security, and public sector reform. He currently chairs a Non-Executive Board in the food security sector and serves as a Board Member of the national Chamber of Commerce.
Quantum Connection was created in response to a persistent truth: the higher people rise, the more armour they tend to carry. Senior leaders become exceptionally adept at navigating internal politics, holding multiple stakeholder agendas, and projecting confidence - often at the expense of their own clarity, energy, or wellbeing.
